TEPRI Releases Low-Income Community Profile (LICP) Report – Texas Overview

We are delighted to announce that our Low-Income Community Profile (LICP) Texas Overview Report is now available!

TEPRI developed the Texas LICP Series in collaboration with the Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin and the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF).  The series is designed to reveal insights at the intersection of energy and poverty to advance lasting energy solutions for low-income communities.

The Texas Overview Report is the first in the LICP series. The report is a state-level summary of Texas low-income communities and their relationships to energy. Its aim is to establish context and to highlight opportunities for regional inquiry, as it will be followed by regional reports available to TEPRI members that will take a closer look at each study region.
